Athletics

We at DPS- Bopal conduct professional coaching for various athletic events like running, high jump, long jump, discus throw, javelin throw and shot put. Our children have participated and won laurels at State and National level. We have athletics grass track, long jump pit and all the necessary equipments. Every child at DPS actively participates in sports with the true sportsman spirit.

September, 2019Khel Mahakumbh taluka level meet held at C.G Amin school,vahelal on 13/9/2019.
Results are as below;
1. Nimrat kaur Std-XI/F Secured 1st place in shot put throw. She will participate in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 9.
2. Dhriti goyal Std-XI/E Secured 1st place in 200 meter running race. She will participated in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 13
3. Amisha Chaturvedi Std-IX-F Secured 2nd place in 200 meter running race. She will participated in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 13.
4. Nimrat kaur Std-XI-F Secured 2nd place in discuss throw. She will participated in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 8.
5. Anshuman rai Std-IX-K Secured 3rd place in 1500 meter running race.
6. Sambhav Malhotra Std-VII/J Secured 1st place in 600 meter running. He will participate in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 19.
7. Vedant sharma Std-VII/I Secured 1st place in 80 meter hurdle race. He will participate in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 15.
8. Navya Mishra Std-VIII/C Secured 1st place in shot put throw. She will participate in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 7.
9. Jay Rohit Std-VIII/P Secured 1st place in long jump. He will participate in district level tournament. Total number of player participated were 9.
10. Om Agarwal Std-VIII/E Secured 3rd place in 100 meter running. Total number of player participated were 22.

District Amature Athletics meet held at Gujarat University,sports complex,Navrangpura on 28/9/2019.

2. Navya Mishra Std-VIII/C Secured 2nd place in Shotput. Total number of player participated were 9.
3. Sahil Vevariya Std-VIII/E Secured 3rd place in ShotputTotal number of player participated were 11.

September,2017Delhi Public School-Bopal, U-19 Girls team participated in Ahmedabad Rural SGFI Tauka Level Athletic meet held at C.N. VIDYALAYA,

Ambavadi, Ahmedabad on 13th Sep,2017.

1) Yashvi Shah stood first in 100 mt and 200 mt event and selected for the District Level Athletic meet.

2) Swagat Swamy stood second in 100 mt and 200 mt event.
