English has emerged as the lingua franca in multiple fields, be it Science, Technology, Humanities or Commerce. Keeping in mind the all-encompassing role a language plays, we at DPS ensure competency in language skills (English & Hindi) as the core commitment of our curriculum. We believe in developing all linguistic and paralinguistic skills which help to build a robust linguistic foundation in the beginners. Each LSRW skill is designed to achieve specific learning outcome to cater to the needs of the learners who are global citizens. Various teaching pedagogies like Experiential Learning, Cross Curricular approach, Art integrated Activities, CBE activities etc. are designed in accord with NEP 2020.

With the focus on the vision laid out in the NEP 2020 and to develop, nurture and foster Mathematical thinking, plethora of activities are carried out in the classrooms to enable students to appreciate the usefulness and beauty of Mathematics.

The learning experiences of Environmental Education helps children to explore and connect with their natural and man-made surroundings. We aim at providing the students with knowledge, attitudes and skills so that they are equipped to contribute meaningfully towards the betterment of the environment and accomplish the goal of sustainable development.  Activities help them to imbibe Indian ethos, connection with other subjects and their relevance to everyday life. We lay emphasis on learning through reflections, by doing, rather than rote learning and memorization, for that we have embedded project-based learning, songs, debates, roleplays, subject enrichment activities, research work etc. in our syllabi.

We aspire to provide enjoyable and enriching experience to all our students through our distinguished teaching learning process.

School activities play a significant part in the development of students. Co-curricular activities have become a fundamental part of school life and aides in improving students’ learning at school. These activities are mandatory and necessary for every student to participate. The learning programme in the early stages makes use of recreational resources and activity driven approaches like illustration of concepts through projects, models, charts, visuals, multi-media, field trips etc to strengthen their knowledge base.

The learners are initiated into reading books of all forms in a spacious and well stocked library; developing scientific temper and reasoning ability, emphasising on experiential learning,  acquiring language skills through active speaking-listening programmes along with nurturing creative talent.
